Renmark High school turns 100 in 2025
We celebrated a truly special milestone as Renmark High School marked its centenary, with celebrations held on Friday 24 October and Saturday 25 October 2025. Across both days, our community came together to honour 100 years of excellence, reflection, and shared memories.
The celebrations began on Friday evening with the Centenary Dinner at the Renmark Club, a sold-out event that brought together 300+ past and present students, staff, and community members for an evening of connection, storytelling, and celebration.
On Saturday, Renmark High School welcomed visitors back to our school for a vibrant Open Day from 9am to 12pm. Guests enjoyed guided tours led by students, access to the school grounds and buildings, and the opportunity to reconnect with familiar spaces and faces. Highlights of the morning included the Acknowledgement of Country, an official welcome, and the centenary cake cutting ceremony, followed by an entertaining exhibition volleyball match – Team Scott vs Team Stano. Visitors explored extensive memorabilia displays in the Elaine Balfour-Ogilvy Library, featuring time capsule contents, historic photographs, media walls, and treasured school artefacts. The central courtyard was a hub of activity, with morning tea, refreshments, and barista-made coffee.
As part of the celebrations, attendees also had the opportunity to purchase copies of the 75 Year Book and the 100 Year Centenary Book, preserving the rich history of Renmark High School for future generations.
📚 Centenary Books: A copy of the 75 Year Book and 100 Year Centenary Book can be purchased from our Front Office Administration, either by phone or in person.
It was a memorable celebration of pride, community, and legacy — and a fitting way to honour 100 years of Renmark High School.
